All illustrations begin with the author's words.

An author can submit a manuscript with page by page illustration instructions
or...let my imagination run wild.
In any case, we begin with your words and my sketches.
Once I've completed the character design and sketches, my author's or
clients are asked to review the artwork and upon approval, the final
illustrations are completed.
Hand drawn, can also be scanned and completed with digital coloring
like this:
